How do you find agents in my area?

When I search for agents in your town, I don’t just pull from a database or send referrals to the first agent available. Instead, I start with thorough online research. I look for the most experienced agents in your town with the right experience, a strong support team, effective marketing for their listings, a reputable personal brand, and a solid social media presence.

Once I identify promising candidates, I connect with them directly to ensure they’re a great match for your specific needs. Unlike others who rely on quick Facebook referrals or agents they already know, I’m specifically searching for the best agents in your town who can negotiate effectively, get you the best price and create the least amount of stress.

By the time I present you with agents, I’ve carefully vetted their experience, marketing, support, honesty, and professionalism — leaving only one question for you: Do you feel comfortable with them and what does your gut tell you?

I've already got an agent. Why is your choice better than mine?

You might feel confident in an agent because a friend recommended them or their name is familiar around town. But do you really know their track record? I’ll connect you with experienced agents who know how to get you to closing smoothly, maximizing your profits with minimal stress.

It’s essential to interview at least two or three agents to see what truly sets a great agent apart. In addition, every agent will have different thoughts on pricing, staging and getting your home ready. Talking to more than one agent is the BEST way to increase your chances of making more money when you go to sell.

I want to use my friend as my agent. Do you think that is a good idea?

Do you know if your agent is truly skilled, or just great at self-promotion? Can they accurately price your home? Will they put your financial interests above the friendship if things get tough?

Using a friend as an agent can be very difficult, especially if things go wrong. The last thing you want is to feel stuck with an agent who isn’t delivering, while trying to keep the friendship intact. While your friend might be the best choice for you, again, you should talk to an additional couple of agents just to confirm your gut feel.

How do I choose from the agents that you provide to me?

I am asking you to go with your "gut" from the agents I am providing to you. This is because you can be rest assured that the agents I put in front of you are significantly experienced. So you can feel confident that the only choice you have to make is who you feel you "connect" with and who is making you feel most comfortable.

This means that you don't have to feel like you made the wrong decision and are "sold" by an agent. Every agent I give to you is someone I feel comfortable with who can get you to closing.

How do you get compensated?

There are no upfront fees for requesting agent referrals. I receive a portion of your agent's commission, but only upon a successful closing. Agents shouldn’t be marking up their fees—most understand this is simply part of the business. I'm fully invested in your success, which is why I refer two to three highly experienced, competitive agents. I'm in it with you for the long haul and want your success just as much as you do.

How are you different than other referral companies or agents?

What sets me apart is that I'm a hands-on, producing agent with nearly $500 million in real estate sales in the North Shore of Chicago and Northeast Florida regions, having worked with thousands of clients.

Many other referral organizations are just trying to put you in the hands of "any" agent. That is not me. I want to make sure you have a successful experience because I know how stressful it can be to sell your home.

My priority is ensuring you have the right representation. Agents in my network don’t pay to join; instead of charging agents upfront (like most other referral companies), I carefully look for the best agents in your town.

Many top agents don’t need more business, so therefore they don't participate in paying referral companies for more business. The agents who pay referral companies are generally those agents who need the business. The agents I refer don't NEED the business... they WANT the business. And they are the ones who are going to put your profits ahead of their paycheck.

Will you really help and support me?

Absolutely! I personally get to know each person who requests my help, tracking their progress and checking in regularly. The best way to reach me is via email or in my private Facebook Group. I’ll always respond with honesty and authenticity. You’ll have a true partner on your team, someone you can trust to keep you on the right path. Many sellers who join forces with me to find their agents have taken a true interest in the other sellers by participating in our community on Facebook.

By engaging there, you will be around other homeowners just like you... people who have questions about the little things that they just don't know who to ask. Everyone is welcome and we would welcome you with open arms!

What if I only want the names of agents and don't want them to contact me?

I have found that by making the introductions between you and the agents, you will be able to see who responds well or who doesn't respond because they are too busy. This is a great way to see their communication style and their organizational skills.

Don't worry about them stalking you or trying to make you feel pressure into listing your home. As I said, most of the agents I refer have a very solid business, and they are only going to want to work with people who feel like it's a "good fit." You can be honest with these agents, their egos can take it! Because remember that all great agents have been rejected thousands of times. Selling real estate is not for the faint of heart. We've have lost listings before, and we will lose them again!

How early is too early to talk to an agent?

I think that it's never too early to talk to an agent! However, that might just be me. :) With that said, I would recommend that you start chatting with agents about two years before you are ready to move. If you are a year out, then it's important to make sure you have enough time to make all of the updates or fix the maintenance in your home over the year.
